Welsh operators are offered free seminars which could reduce your subsistence fees.
Do you need help understanding environmental permitting and compliance? Well if you live in Wales then you’re in luck. The environment agency are running a series of workshops in January 2013 which aim to explain their permitting regime and help you improve your compliance score and reduce your subsistence fees.


If you are a waste operator in Wales, and that means ATFs, these workshops will give you an increased understanding of the compliance report forms; their scoring system (CCS) and let you know where to go for further advice and support. There will also be the opportunity find out what funding is available and how you can access it.

The workshops will take place at 9am until 11am on the following dates and locations:
Monday 21 Jan 13 - Reichel Hall, Bangor Uni, Bangor
Tuesday 22 Jan 13 – Ramada Plaza, Wrexham
Thursday 24 Jan 13 – Halliwell Conference Centre, Carmarthen
Friday 25 Jan 13 – Dragon Classic Hotel, Swansea
Tuesday 29 Jan 13 – City United Reformed Church, Cardiff
Thursday 31st Jan 13 – Bessemer Hotel, Merthyr Tydfil
Free bacon rolls will be available at the workshops!

Code of practice flawed, the opinion of the BVSF
