New look for MVDA on-line

MVDA website
MVDA have been busy over the last year and the latest news is the re-launch of their website.
Your on-line presence is critical these days and the Motor Vehicle Dismantlers’ Association recently upgraded both the look and information available on their web-site.

The MVDA has long recognised the issues associated with the image of the industry and has continually worked to improve it. That’s not always easy, as is currently being demonstrated by the negative publicity the tyre industry has used to discredit used tyres.

MVDA Chairman, Chas Ambrose explained. “Our website was looking tired and out of date, and was providing only very limited information for members. And we didn’t think its dated image was reflecting the major advances our members have been making in recent years. We are constantly being asked for information from the general public and interested organisations / Government departments etc. so we have now added much of the key information to the site”. Chas added, “We are all too well aware of the issues associated with the industry’s image. This leads to many calls from the public wanting to be sure they are dealing with a reputable company. Whether they are looking to buy parts, salvage or sell a vehicle, they can now easily locate a professional operator in their area”.

The new website is only the tip of the iceberg. Plans are in place to use the new site to help promote members’ parts and vehicles to both trade and public outlets. Over the coming months we expect to see new services appear as they are developed. In the meantime, if you want to know more visit MVDA’s website.
