WAMITAB release training guides

Are you up to date on your technical comepetance - these new guides should bring you up to speed.
WAMITAB has released a series of ‘Revision Guides’ for Continuing Competence candidates for the period up to April 2016 (when the question bank is expected to be revised). These are a valuable revision tool, and if you're an MVDA member, there's a 30% discount!

There are 5 booklets of potential interest to vehicle recyclers, reflecting the sections of the multiple choice ‘continuing competence’ test that must be taken every 2 years (1 booklet for each of the following sections):
  • Generic: Health & Safety
  • Generic: Legislation
  • Generic: Environmental protection
  • Activity specific: ELV
  • Activity specific: Metal recycling

MVDA is selling these booklets in sets of either 4 (3 x Generic + ELV) or sets of 5 (3x Generic + ELV + metal recycling) depending upon whether you also operate a metal recycling site as well as an ATF.

MVDA is able to offer members a 30% discount on the standards price, as follows (all prices include P&P:

Code of practice flawed, the opinion of the BVSF
One has to be concerned when the insurer’s new Code of Practice (CoP) that received its “soft launch” a week or so back isn’t supported by either the Motor Vehicle Dismantlers’ Association or the British Vehicle Salvage Federation, two of the main owners of the pre-existing code.
