New directory to be published by MVDA

MVDA
Although on-line presence is essential these days, there's still a need for a printed trade directory.
This summer, the MVDA will publish a new parts and salvage directory of UK vehicle dismantlers and salvage agents. The plan is to launch the directory at CARS2016, where anyone wishing a copy will be able to pick it up from their stand.

Although a printed directory, it will also be live on their website. The reason for a printed edition is to satisfy demand from many within the private and trade markets, who would still prefer to keep a reference at hand. All members will receive copies to distribute to their customers and local trade outlets. The directory is free of charge and will focus on the sale of recycled parts, repairable salvage, and the purchase of cars.

Entries within the directory will only be available to MVDA members who will receive a free listing, displaying their company name, address, phone number, website and the services they offer. There will be easy to follow colour coded sections for
  • Breakers
  • Salvage
  • Export
  • Scrap
The Directory will also include a number of relevant articles, such as advice to consumers on buying used parts, salvage and selling their vehicles.

There will also be the option for both members and suppliers to the industry to advertise. for those who aren’t currently members, the Association is running a deal with advert prices starting at £399+VAT, which will include free MVDA membership.

If you would like to see a breakdown of adverting rates, email the MVDA here.
