Bridge Van Ltd Northern Ireland keep moving forward

Bridge Van Ltd
Team work and a positive drive to continually improve has been key to Bridge Van Ltd’s impressive performance over the last 25 years.

Keeping up with the times and developing your business to meet specific needs is essential if you wish to grow and prosper. It was good to hear from Northern Ireland based. Bridge Van Ltd who have spent the last 25 years doing just that.

William coming from being a self employed mechanic on the family farm joined forces with Vincent coming from a sales background, Bridge Van was established.

Deciding to specialise in just the van market meant Bridge Van could learn their product range and customer base quickly, adapting to the needs of both has underpinned the success of the business over the past 25 years Bridge Van has grown, evolved and adapted, this has resulted in Bridge Van now being in the position of occupying a purpose built two and a half acre site right in the heart of Northern Ireland, with 10,000 ft building with fully equipped workshop, stripping bays, sales counter, packaging and office space.

Positive Environmental Impact
With a strict focus on the environment and best practice right from the outset, being constantly reviewed and updated ensured Bridge Van Ltd was one of the the first ATF’s in Ireland. Their focus on the environment was further recognised when they won the ‘positive environmental impact’ award in 2006 and again in November 2016 – A great way for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
New E-Commerce site
Having launched their new e-commerce site in 2016 ensures Bridge Van is well placed to continue to develop and grow for another 25 years. Adele Bradley, Marketing Co-Ordinator commented ‘Our new e-commerce site is working well and we are receiving very positive feedback from our customers, our customers like the fact that all information is current and our stock is accurate, when a new vehicle arrives on site in the morning all its parts are online before 5:30pm that same day, because it is powered by Hollander International System’s, Pinnacle Professional Software, everything is integrated from the van arriving on site to the customer buying the parts on their laptop or device.

Considering the volume of vehicles processed through the site every year this is by no means an easy task.

Going forward Bridge Van Ltd has just started the process of reviewing their recycling rates / energy we use with a view to further reducing its environmental impact, having installed solar panels in the past few years was just another step in the journey.

On being asked what has made the biggest change to your business over the years, both Vincent and William commented ‘ Our staff, we are proud we have team members with us almost 20 years and are glad we have one of the strongest teams in the industry.
