F Gas Training with AutoDrain

AutoDrain offer fully accredited F Gas training at their IMI awards centre in Leeds, designed to provide you with refresher training, assessment and accreditation. The course includes both theory and practical sections in small friendly classes. From 4th July 2010 it is a legal requirement for anyone dealing with refrigerant gas in ELVs to hold this qualification. To book please call or email.

Is DVLA hiding something?
There are about 1.2 million Certificates of Destruction (CODs) issued each year in the UK but its widely believed that there’s 2 million vehicles being taken off the road. That leaves a staggering 800,000 ELVs unaccounted for.
Getting hold of more motors
Many in the industry are suffering from a two fold problem; overpriced salvage making them uneconomic to break for spares and the other perennial problem, poor quality parts from ELVs. This has left the industry looking for new sources for suitable vehicles.
We must defend this part of our business
We mentioned a couple of issues ago the pressure we are under from new tyre manufacturers who would like to see used tyre sales banned. Training and certification is our route to maintaining this revenue source.
